Stock intake vs. cyclone

What is the difference between a stock turbo intake and the cyclone intake on sone of the cars?

The cyclones ran two sets of runners for each cylinder. Short and long ones...

So dose it give more airflow? Would it be better for a bigger turbo?

I suppose it could be. It just gives better response for the entire rpm range. I've heard from some though that its not worth the time over the stock one.
