Question about 06 1.8s

My wife bought an 06 sentra 1.8s back in March,and a friend of ours also bought one from a different dealer at the same time.Our friend has had trouble starting his after shutting off the ignition,and trying to restart it.Runs fine first start up of the day but from then on ,nothing.He took it to the dealer he bought it from,and they said he needed a fuel kit?! Dealer said it was a problem Nissan has accnowledged,but has not issued a formal recall.Anyone else having this problem?Friend has been waiting a week for the part to come in!

fuel pump... I'm almost certain. The same exact thing happened to mine at around 50k miles. There must be a defect in them because a lot of people are starting to have problems... anyway mine was under warranty, so I had it replaced and I haven't had a problem since. Good luck
