headlight problems

i have a 98 grand am se with 2.4l (not a quad). my problem is the drl's goes on and off every now and then. the drl's have the same brightness as if i have the headlights on. when the drl's goes out the high beam light in the dash flashes. it doesn't matter if i am in the sun or the shade, it does it.what can i do to fix this?? my lady is bugging me to fix it. please help me!!!

possibly the DRL relay or module is bad.

where would i find it??

The relay would be in the fuse box, not certain tho exactly which one, but it should be marked.
