Wiring guru needed

I got in the halo headlights finally. They aren't bright enough to drive by at night obviously but aren't bright enough to see during the day. I want to find a way to wire them to keep them on at all times. The way they are wired turns them off when you turn the headlights on because they are connected to the day time running lights (turn signals on the 4th gen). There is another side marker light in the turn signal assembly that comes on when the DRL's go out with the headlights, I tried splicing all these together and it worked for the first headlight (the halo's stayed on all the time). When I did that to the 2nd headlight, it blew a fuse, car wouldn't start, nothing. I found out it blew a dash fuse so we replaced it with a larger fuse, that caused the dash to light up like when the headlights come on, the turn signals both flashed when the lights were off and wouldn't flash at all when the headlights are on. I'm stumped....

Short of a toggle switch directly from the battery, anyone know of a way to keep the halo lights on at all times?

You need to wire them to a constant "hot" on the fuse box through a relay that you'd wire to a switched circuit from the fuse box (switches on when the key is on) This way you'd have them on all the time no matter weather the headlights are on or off as long as the key is on.

yeah you need a male end crimp.. and on the fuse panel, look for where it says 'accy' ..itll turn on when you turn the car on..dont hook it up to 'battery' or itll be on ...even when your cars off...
