Hello!
I have a quetion, and want to know if enyone can help me out. I bouth some 17 inch wheels for my 94 prelude. the wheels came with tires allready on them. the tire height is 45. but the tires on the back are rubbing if you hit eny bump. as a temp solution, i put some spacers on the springs. I don't like having the car that way. I was thinking on putting some new tires that were 40 but im not sure if that will get rid of the issue. I wanted to know if enyone had that issue with their cars. if sow how did you resolve it? or if you had no issues with 40 let me know before i spend $ on new tires. I have good tires sow i don't want to change if i don't have to. thanks for eny help you can offer. :2cents: :grinyes:

Try a camber kit.

Using excessive question marks adds extra weight causing your tires to rub.

TSC isn't lying, but low profile tires would help too.

Also remember that profile is a static number, its a ratio of the width compaired to the height. Such as 205/40/17's are shorter then 255/35/17's. Its X percent of the width.

is your car lowered, or stock height? that matters too.

the car is stock height, I have a question? how due cambers work exacly, i was looking them up. but it looks like they are only good for lowering cars. and were are they placed exacly, are they attached to the spring or due they take place of another part of the suspention?
