I have a 2000 dodge stratus. blower fan only works on high. I have already replaced blower resistor. What could it be? switch or relay?:banghead:

I had the same problem with my 2001 stratus. The blower resistor cost about $35 and it was semi easy to replace. It's located behind the glove box, the only issue was that the mounting hole wasn't quite large enough for the replacement to slip in so the plastic housing needed to be filed so it was larger.

Time to get out the test light or meter and see if there is power going to the resistor. Make sure the plugs are not corroded.
New parts aren't always good parts.

it is the fan resisitor switch that is located under the glove box. My 2002 was doing the same thing-- replaced it and I don't have any more trouble.

If you have replaced the resistor once and it goes out again you will have to replace the motor and resistor next time. Aftermarker motor is about $75.00. takes about 30 min to replace both. Cost an arm and a leg if you take it in.

Had same issue with my 02 Strat. But part online about 30 bux, had it installed, works fine now. FYI, The part might need to be "shaven" a little to fit properly. And for me, the easiest way to reach it was from underneath the dash passenger side.
