Would you do a Sunfire front end swap with the StreetFire bodykit and evil eye lids, like so...

Would you want a Toyota Cavalier TRD body kit, ALL CARBON FIBER front bumper and sideskirts, 1 of a kind, none other like it in the world BRAND NEW, the holes are NOT even drilled in it yet for installation. (Pictured here (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/toyota-cavalier-TRD-carbon-fiber-kit_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ36475QQihZ016QQitem Z260040583587QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)) But it would be going on a red car and I can't think of a paint scheme to incorporate all that cf, I'd get cf fenders and cf hood as well so the entire front end would be cf and don't want to paint my car black. But I can pay for the bodykit in payments. I'm in a bind, Idk what to do.

the CF kit is sweet, but I still like the sunfire swap idea. Have you seen some of the sunfire/cavaliers on Cardomain?

As my normally chipper blunt self would say....get the fuckin cf trd kit. All that cf on the front end with the rest of the body does/would look sweet. CF on the victory red just pops and looks kick ass and I dont care what anybody says.

I would go with the sunfire front end only because u said u wouldn't paint the CF kit imo having cf bumpers and skirts just dosen't look good but if u were gonna paint them then yes i would go with the TRD kit

personally i dont think cf should be painted. I would get the cf kit. and get the cf fenders, hood and trunk. then leave it at that

If I was into racing and wanted all the weight reduction hell yeah but I'm not, so having the entire front end "black" and the trunk "black" on a red car would just look like shit.

Neither and get some lowering springs.

Kustm - I still have the kyb and eibach set up on the 2.2, I wasn't gonna use it because I didn't like the rough ride lowering the car gave me so I was gonna keep stock suspension but I knew that wouldn't last long so I'm gonna put those on my z24 now lol

Like I said, I agree that cf hoods look insane on red cars but, like.... half the car? Black and the rest red? Most people will just think I got into an accident or something and took the entire front end from a black cav and havnt painted it yet. It would look like what I constantly mock people for, putting an unpainted bodykit on. And there's no way I could pay for a paint job like that to blend it in, and there's no way I could save money that long. :shakehead

Well, if any of you guys want to make my decision alot easier and buy it yourself, he's only charging like $800 for it, and you can pay in payments. I dunno about the shipping price since I was just going to pick it up. But $800 is like the price for the regular fiberglass or urethane one so this deal is insane.

Well, someone actually helped me out on Jbo for a change! Holy hell! Here's what he came up with for design ideas and also what it would look like with all the cf stuff, and i've come to the conclusion there's just no way to make it look good on a red car.

Because there are a bunch of flame and tribal ideas on there and I'm not loading all of them up on my photobucket and posting all of them. And yeah it does look like crap, looks like I got into an accident and got all parts from a black cav from a junkyard.

Out of all of them that was the only one I liked, dont care too much for that tribal stuff.

I think what looks bad is the side skirt, the fenders, hood, and front bumper dont look bad IMO.

That photo chop sucked IMO. Ive seen the half/half on a 00 2dr on some kids ride in PA at one time or another and it looked damn nice. Pics dont do it justice. Think about Cody's. The pics to me dont look all that great with all the cf on the front end but I know from experience it looks much better in the face to face and with the red its even better.

Gotta agree here... Im not a fan of CF or even bodykits for that matter. I havent really seen one that looks too incredibly amazing for the cost that is required to get it all done right (headache of install and paying for paint and such) Besides, why not save the money for some performance stuff? Thats what I would do. But if you are gonna do one or the other CF or Sunfire swap...go with the Sunfire swap. That front end with those eyelids looks sweet. Then when you get done with that there is a Celica sitting in the junkyard that I go to here in Northern KY. Get the rear clip and do the Celica conversion on it as well. Hell if youre gonna go...might as well go big! :grinyes:

Thats what Im saying. That would take it to a 90% cfed cav minus the pillars, roof and rear fenders. In the end the damn red would be trimming out the cf. So in actuallity it would be a cf colored car with red exterior trim.

They make Evo7 kits for the 03-05's, thats all i know.

Speaking of which are those the kit that has 2 big fog lights in the front bumper?? Because I just saw a 03 style with that kit on there and it didnt look that good with thos fog lights on it IMO.

Yeah, thats the kit for the 03+'s. It looks alright when done right but it one of those things that if done wrong is just waaaaaay fuckin wrong.

Thats not too bad of an idea though lance. Instead of a fire swap do an 03+ swap front and rear and get the 03+ evo front rear and sides then do the evo head and rear lights. Thats more in the reality realm then the 90% cf idea and is sure as shit more original then the fire swap.

Fenders, headlights, hood, hood latch/essembly, and trunk. There might be more but thats just what I can think of off the top of my head. It sounds like alot but if you can get in with someone that has a red 03+ or if you dont mind getting oaint done then any color 03+ get them talked into a swap or hit up a few yards for the more basic stuff like the hood latch essembly and maybe some of the other odds and ends.

Like I said its easy to the point that its damn doable. One of my guys down here has a 99 with a 2.4 engine swap then picked up all the components to do an 03+ swap and he even got it all in the cd silver like his car so he had no need for painting but he went in another direction and sold off all the parts.

Would have been sweet too. A 99 with a 2.4 engine swap and a 03+ body swap and a GM super to top it off.
