Damien - Patriot Missiles are a short-range defensive missile. They are designed to intercept ballistic missiles eg Russian SCUD units before they strike the intended target. They aren't designed for the use of killing folk. Perhaps you were thinking of the Harpoon or Exocet armament devces instead, which are medium range radar-guided multipurpose/multiplatform attack missiles ie fire and forget.

I don't like nuclear, chemical, biological or any weapon of mass destruction either.

On a lighter note, other things we could do without...
