Turbo Install

How do you install a turbo. what do you need n how do you do it.

98 z24 2.4 cav

There are many turbo stikies around, and its a long process. If you are planning on doing one, and dont know much about it, I would suggest just getting a entire kit, that way you dont have to worry bout forgetting something essential to the setup.

just get the kit and take it to a guy you trust with a shop. thats what i do with my shit. he has a lift and lets me help him.

the kit is your best bet, and be ready for 2-4k drop of cash real fast.

Out of all those exhaust manifolds do you know actually how many exist for our cars? 2 if your lucky 3, Not many companies make them for our cars. 90% of those are designed for imports. Economically the log manifold is going to be your cheapest route. When you get into the Long tube ram horn style, your lookin at $500 easily.

The hardest task your gona have with your car my friend, is tappin the pan for your oil return. You've gotta drop your oil pan and get the metal shavings out of it. Other wise, its on the same complex level of the 2.2 OHV engines. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact me if you don't understand what the other guy posted in a previous thread.
