Throttle cable

Hey Folks, I'm in the process of getting at my fuel pressure reg on my 96 Tahoe. I have gotten as far as labeling connectors and such and I want to remove the two throttle cables. One of them was easy, the other has a plastic swivel thingy on it and i'm not sure how to disconnect it. I don't want to force it and break it.
I am an extreme newb so I appreciate the help from this board.
If anyone ever needs help fixing a guitar I'm your man.:lol:

If it is the one on the outside shaped like a plastic long tear drop.
Open TBI and push forward from cable on it. But go easy they will break.

Are you saying that it just snaps on to the metal part? Is there a release or a tab I need to push in? There are so many things on these trucks that just seem over engineered.
