Well if you have the urge you should be able to find a local game going someplace.
I always like to shop local or keep my money local anyway. :grinyes:

haha, i do live near foxwoods and mohegan sun in ct, which are the largest casinos in the US and possibly the world, but it takes an hour to get there..
and whats wrong with the commercials? i think they are funny as hell. they will probably still show em, since it saws its not a gambling site on it.. and MT, i play 10 dollar games with my friends all the time, but its not like the casino, or party p.... actually party p was sketcky anyway, the flops where rediculous....

lol how are they going to enforce this? are they going to track what every person does on the internet? Only thing they did was make it go underground. All the onliny gambling sites were hosted off the US shores anyways. And there is no way for the US government to track and charge every single person that gambles online.
Nothing has changed except the government said not to, and who really listens to the government these days?

Yep, i got booted from half my sites, a few are freezing funds, alot of promo seats that I won are just getting paid a small cash value, and the few sites that are still saying they wont close out Americans will still probably present issues when you want to deposit or withdraw funds via credit cards/banks/ or any third party sites such as FirePay. It's just a screwed situation all around, and Bush is even more of a prick in my eyes. I mean to A) pass it as a small addition to teh 'safe ports' bill or whatever the hell it was called...what the F$%k does it have to do with safe ports? and B) of course they let the NFL fantasy league stay (which I'm not knocking) but obviously there is political and economic clout influencing that exception.
If you are interested pokerstars, bodog, and absolute poker(and some others) are still claiming to serve Americans. Here is a link (http://www.pokersourceonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=29037) in poker forum I frequent, that lists the sites that have and have not folded to the political bullying.
Also a video (http://video.msn.com/v/us/v.htm?g=58e19ac9-3a6f-4d07-80e7-bc3ef2d80d79&f=truveo&fg=copy) of Annie Duke, Mike Sexton and the top guy of the PPA on CNBC

you need to get an off-shore bank account.
that would fix it, wouldn't it?

I do believe that would. The law that was just passed prohibits using credit cards, checking accounts, debit cards and electronic transfers to pay them. That leaves money orders and cash.

Thats where the offshore account comes into play. You deposit it there, have them send you a transfer to your account in the states.
