My left blinker won't stay on until I turn anymore. It started out as normal, then it would stay on and not shut off when I turn (probably causing confusion for the people behind me haha), and now it just won't stay on at all. I have to hold it down in order for it work....Is there something simple I could do to fix it? Or would it involve taking things apart and the possibility of dealing with the airbag? If I dont get this fixed is it possible for it pass inspection in NH? Any info would be great :sunglasse

what, you mean it just keeps popping back up? If it had been staying on dispite your turning the wheel, then Im inclined to think thats the cancel cam. If its just popping up maybe a spring in the multifunction switch is bad. Either way Im 70% sure you'll have to pull the airbag module out. I can look up the procedure for this in my haynes if you'd like.

oh, I forgot to mention. It probably would pass in NH. I had an old beatup ford probe with busted seatbelts and turn signals intermittenly working. Guy in Hudson didn't bother much with it, paid attention to the tires and brake lights mainly.

your problem is the turn signal/multifunction switch, a very common problem in these cars.
