Look what I found out...2001 Integra Type R is faster than the 2001 Impreza WRX...dont you think a RSX Type S should be able to beat the WRX too since they have more HP than the Type R Integra?

Where did this article come from? There is no way that the Type-R can stick with the WRX. As much as I love the Type-R, the WRX takes it in almost every category (I love the WRX more, so I'm a little biased). But their 0-60 time for the WRX is waaaaaayyyyyyyyy off. Take a look at what other magazines got for 0-60 times:

Road and Track - 5.7
Car and Driver - 5.8
Sport Compact Car - 5.7
Grassroots Motorsports - 5.73
Motor Trend - 5.6
Automobile - 5.7

Those times are WAY off, super street is a great magazine, but those times are not good. the wrx would definatly beat a type r. now, i love both of the cars equally, but the wrx would win. and as for the rsx type s, i think the integra type r even beats that, cause of weight. and its only like, what, 3 more hp than the type R?? anyway, i think both the wrx and the ITR are much better cars, cult classics if you will.

The WRX is 400 pounds heavier....I'd like to say that it would be close, but having driven neither car I can only speculate. Perhaps the times were just "As-tested" by the journalists. Even so, pretty interesting.
