98 Tracker

My 1998 Tracker acts sluggish when beginning to accelerate, then has a surge. Can smell a little gas. Does this mean I need afuel filter changed? Or could this be other problems. :banghead:

be carefull if the check engine light comes on then change your oil fuel filter air filter and sparkplugs but if its starting to accelerate and really starts to fell like its going to stall then stop and probly have it towed to a shop i just went mudding and it started to happen to me and blew the engine so now i have to change the whole value system in it. just be carefull its not a big problem
