does anyone know if motormounts are filled with fluid? i have a torn motormount but am not sure if stuff leaked when the mount cracked or if my strut is leakin.
I just GOT headers and INTAKE and my shit is off da hook! sounds like i got a deep ass exhaust, and oh, the vtec is nothing short of beautiful.

no motor mounts are not filled with fuid they are cylindrical units which have a polyeurethane bushing that cushions the bumps and vibrations

actually stock mounts are made of rubber not polyeurethane smarty pants.

Oh and another thing, polyeurethane does not offer much "cushion" you twit. Polyeurethane is a harder surface, less wear on them - and it keeps the motor mounted in a level plane, so when you slam on the gas your motor doesnt dip or tilt... but im sure you knew that :rolleyes:
