Has anybody done there own tinting on there car? i wuz thinking about doing it myself but dont know if its hard, or looks like the real thing. ive seen tint for sale at autozone... has anybody tried it before.

Trust me. This is the one area where you definatly want a profesional to work on your car.
1. It is very tough and aggravating to try and do it if you have never experienced it before.
2. If a professional does it then the work is guaranteed for life. If anything happens like bubbling or anything just take it back and they will fix it free.
3. A professional can do it in half the time and have your car back to you in 2 hours.

Just make sure you shop around if you decide not to do it yourself. Definately don't go looking for the cheapest place you can find. You will regret it.
When I got my windows tinted I knew of a quality place that would do it for around 200$ but I went with the 99$ place instead. I kick myself in the ass every time I look at my rear window now. It still looks like shit even after I made them redo the window.

my friend got his done for $175 and it looks great and has been on there for years. Like Zigen said, don't go for the cheapest place, go for the best. :)

like they said before check around some times places have sales ect..
but just make sure the tint shops are use good quality materials not cheep shit

hey andrew do you know the tinting laws in OR? i was thinking of getting mine done. also do you have any friends that have a body shop that would wanna make some money and write up a quote for me... i still need a shop to make the quote and cash the check for my paint job.
my friend got his done for $175 and it looks great and has been on there for years. Like Zigen said, don't go for the cheapest place, go for the best. :)
