Keyless Remote 01 SE

I recently bought a remote on the website: yourremotes.com
I bought it for my 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix SE. programyourremotes.com told me that I need to pull out the mall pgm fuse and ... etc. I followed all appropriate procedures, but when I turned my ignition to ACC mode, I only heard 2 beeps when I was supposed to hear 4. I believe that my car will not work with a keyless remote, because with only 2 beeps I do not have the options that I would have, if i had 4 beeps. Could any direct me on what to do to get my car to have the 4 beeps. If Nobody understand what I am saying or is unfamiliar with programming a remote. I will scan what the manual says and show it to you that way.

your car is not equiped with keyless entry option

PM me with the last 8 digits of your vin, and I can confirm whether your car came with keyless entry. IF you'd rather, you can check the SPID label on the underside of the trunk lid for the codes AUO (keyless entry) and UA6 (anti-theft).
