'87 dash in '88?

I went to my local junkyard today to get a grille and a handle for my glovebox.

The only car I could find was an 87 cutlass ciera, which was fine for my 88 since all the parts were the same (for the most part).

Then I noticed the dash in this car. My car has the speedometer, fuel gauge...and nothing else really, an oil light and a battery light.

The one in the junkyard had an oil guage, ammeter, fuel gauge, tach, speedometer...much better than my car has.

So I was wondering...can I simply switch out the gauges and be set? I know I'll need to put extra work in get the tach to work, as well as the ammeter and oil gauge, but couldn't I just simply swap out the speedometer, odometer, fuel guage without having to put extra work into getting those up and running? Or are there other parts that I will need...

Thanks. (btw both cars are 2.8l v6).
