How to remove the Cigarette Lighter

96 Buic Rev has fusing popping everytime I use lighter. I like to see whats behind lighter for bad wires and or replace the lighter.

pull the cd or tape holder out from below the lighter then you can acess the wires and see how it is held in. it all just pulls apart just be careful not to break any clips. replacement lighters can be found at autozone iirc. good luck

I did and Im also afriad of breaking it.
Where are the clips and Have you done this ?
