Electrical gremlin?

I have a 96 accord that had its speedometer quit about 1.5 months ago. Last night none of the guages worked nor did any of the lights like check engine, oil pressure, etc. You cannot shift it out of park, and the windows quit working. I already checked the fuses. Any ideas where to check?

The problem actually was the speedometer. Inside the connector it shorted itself out and blew the "back-up lamps" fuse. Why were the power windows, instrument cluster and shif-lock solenoid tied into it, I don't know. Good thing is that the problem is fixed. Got a speedo and connector at the junk yard.
