think u can value my car?

im thinking of selling my car. its a 1988 trans am with 64,000 miles on the body and a little less than 5000 miles on the engine. the engine is a crate 305 tpi. i just put on a flow master exhaust and its in the paint shop right now getting the same color red but with a platinum pearl. after all of that how much do u think i could sell my car for?

also should i paint the stock snowflake rims the same color as the body?

I would check autotrader and ebay to see what they are selling for. I wish I could help but the usual place I check like Nada, edmunds and KBB usually don't do vehicles prior to 90.

Without seeing the car, its low mileage, good paint, clean, t-tops, newer motor...so long as everything was done right and it runs well and looks good, you shouldn't have any trouble asking $5000. Could ask more depending on your area and how long youre willing to wait to sell it. These cars go in trashed condition all the time for $2000-$2500, so if its in great shape and low mileage it should be worth at least double. Look into your area as suggested and see what they are going for in what condition in your area to get a better idea.

i bought it for 4900. i thought i got a really good deal on it seeing as how the receipts say it cost almost that much for the engine and labor to put the engine in. but i figured with the new paint maybe it would shoot the price up a little more. i saw one on the side of the road im not sure if it was a gta or not though...but i saw it goin for 7000 but i dont know anything about it except that it looked exactly like mine but white. and i wont be selling it trashed like in the picture...its getting fixed. i wanna sell it and buy a newer 5.7L or an older 400ci. im stayin in the firebird family DEFINATLY.
