Hi fellows this is the `89 Celica GT-R 4WS in 1/24 , yes, of Tamiya. This is the archetypical curbside of the maker with a nice suspension detail to let us know how the rear steering looks but not how it works. The kit is quite simple so itīs nothing much to complain about , except for the windows that doesnīt fit in size with the body , and leaves a gap between it , and the B-Pillars. May be cutting the B-Pillars , attaching the windows and then gluing the cut B-Pillars into the windows directly...
Well , apart from this, the looks of the model are nice, but is it better than the hasegawaīs `91 Gt-Four? Mmm May be not.
Well judge by yourselves.

Thanks people. so you donīt like this Celica P-MAN? I remember when I saw it for the first time in autumn 1989 and I didnīt really like it much because it reminded me too much the Matra Djet Bonnet of the `60s.The roof line was equal. But then , when i got used to it , I think itīs the most original Celicas together with the current one.
Anyway I would mind to replace my old Rover with one os this, even if itīs the 1600 ST-i

That style with turbo 4wd is my fave celica. Here's a model of a rally version by hasegawa:

Does anyone know if anyone makes a street version?

I like the front end and the over all FLOW of the shape of the car. The 2litre DOHC engine in the GTR (if you can really label it that way) is not a bad motor, the only reason I sold mine was due to a dodgy transmission.
Nice job on the model to by the way
