Ok Thanks. What all would i have to do to switch the engines out? Im sorry but are 1988 crx's even worth the time to fix up?

if you like the car, its definately worth fixing up...one thing though, get rid of the front crossmember and get traction bars. It will make working on it so much easier. One thing that's nice about those older CRX's is that everything is cheap because not many people want to deal with them. I have a buddy who fixes CRX's...he's actually selling his last one right now. It had a B18 LS engine in it and it pulled fucking hard...
You save a lot of money by making a cheaper car nice and fast....if you're seriously looking for a GSR engine and the mounts, i have all of that stuff for you. I have a 64k mile GSR engine, tranny and head for sale as well as the mounts and linkage you'd need....the engine is in the car currently but i'm hopefully getting a built and sleeved GE GSR block and ported ITR head...
