my friend and i are just beginning to learn about cars, and how to get the most performace out of your car. Although i just joined automotive forums, i can tell it's going to be extremely helpful for specific questions. However, since both he and are are complete idiots when it comes to everything beyond basic car maintenance, i was wondering if anyone knew of a good website or two that has a lot of general information about different parts, what they do, how to install them, etc. A parts encyclopedia, or something similar. I appreciate any and all advice. Thanx.
P.S. -- My friend has just purchased a Nissan NX. If anyone has any suggestions specific to that car, those would also be greatly appreciated.

Well, if your friend lives in the U.S. he does not have a Pulsar NX. The Pulsar was stopped from being sold in the U.S. I believe in 89'. He could however have a Nissan NX2000 or NX1600. I just sold my 87' Nissan Pulsar EX. If this is infact what you have, I know of a few good web sites for info. I also know a little bit about the car as well. Keep us updated. :D

Awsome car. It does have the famous SR20DE motor. The same as in the Infiniti G20, Sentra SE-R, and 200SX SE-R. I would recommend stopping buy www.SE-R.net they are very informative over there. Also, not to steal business from old Igor, but the forums at www.sr20deforum.com would offer you a more detail answers on the NX. Let me know if I can help you with anything.
