Ok, long story short... Bought the truck... it's a lemon... the problem is that the frame is so rotted out that they refused to even put the truck on the lift to inspect it. Ugh. Is it even feasable to think I'll be able to get the frame welded into decent shape? There is a LOT of rust. I still owe a couple of grand on it. Any suggestions? Anybody?

You are talking about the frame of the truck and not the outside body panels right?

Yeah, the outside body panels need help too, but the real issue is the frame. Any thoughts?

Not much you can do to the frame if it is in real bad shape because of the the rust you will not have much good metal to weld to. Find you a junker and swap out the frame it's a lot of work but you said you owe a couple grand on it still. I am not sure about where your truck is registered but the state where I live if you do that you have to send off your title and the title or the VIN# off the frame you use and they issue you another title.

Did you buy the Truck Privately or from a used car lot, or dealership? If Privately then your on your own. If you brought it from a dealer , i would Take them to court for selling you a unsafe vech. Or give them the option to give you your money back , or trade into something else.
