H22A Lack of Power

I just recently had my head replaced with a rebuilt head, as well as a new throttle body put in. My v-tec is disconnected at the moment seems the last mechanic must have lost it or something cause it was working just fine prior to me taking it to him. Anyways according to the most recent mechanic (I changed mechanics) I took the car to for a full diagnostic the say the Pigtail connector is missing that hooks up the v-tec. But my main issue is that the car seems to start losing power overtime while driving.

When The car starts of cold It feels just fine nice a powerful but over a period of time It starts getting really sluggish acceleration wise. I seem to have to rev higher while shifting to keep a normal pace in traffic. what would be the cause off this. I know my filter is Dirty as all hell is it that (I have a cold air intake) The shop that did my diagnostic said my compression levels were normal. I replaced the Throttle body due to Idle problems . But even now going from Neutral to first holding in the clutch to shift if I just hold in the clutch the Rpms drop and the car cuts off unless I'm giving it gas. Its still stays on in neutral though. Whats odd is these are the same probs I was having before I replaced my head and throttle body. which I thought was supposed to correct these problems.

Also when I turn the car on from a cold start say from overnight. the Ilde starts out high like around a little over 1,000 the settles down after sitting for a few mins.

the high idle when cold is b/c the engines tryin to warm up. the pigtail for my vtec fell off too(becuase of a mechanic), but I still have the metal plugs that went inside the pigtails and it seems to work fine for me. Is your car running hot?
Any check engine light issues?

NO its not running hot as far as I know the temp never goes over the halfway point but who knows my temp sensor may be messed up I don't know. None of the last 3 mechanics ever picked up on any temp issues but they also missed alot of other probs until I got the diagnostic who knows if I will ever truly find out.

Have someone put your car on a good scanner and look at the coolant temp sensor and see what it sais the temp is at cold and then when warmed up good. Also check the IAC(IDLE AIR CONTROL) and see if it is dirty or sticking a little. Make sure that your mechanic has a good scope so that they can check the sensors before replacing them. Sometime a sensor can show good but because it is still in range. But it can also be bad. I good mechanic will be able to diagnose this.
