Sharpie on paint?

How can I get it off without ruining the paint? Any help would be appriciated.

I think you're screwed. Sharpies are permanent markers, so only harsh chemicals would take it off, but unfortunately, it'd take your paint off too. I think you're going to have to sand it down and do a touch-up.

Fine-grit sanding and re-polishing, but if it's on a light color, you're going to swirl the ink around on the surface.
