pillar pods

hiya, I have the day off and decided to install my boost, a/f, and oil p gauges. so does anybody know where the manifold vacuum hose is? I think I found it, but i'm not sure.

not really. I wanted to do the boost gauge, but I can't find ANY vacuum hose cuz I'm not sure what I'm looking for, and my luck I'd end up getting power steering fluid instead a vacuum line, lol. So I gave up on that for now. and when I get my turbo i'll just use a T fitting, and T the line going to my BOV. I gave up on that project and decided to put on my side skirts, lol

however I do have an emaculate question, for anybody with Turbo on here... Your Oxygen sensor connects into your exhaust manifold...so when you have a turbo manifold, where the hell does the O2 sensor go?!?! I thought about this when attempting to install the A/F gauge.

well im glad u did ur research....however i can get a 2004 Neon SRT-4 from an Auction from my uncle who buys and sells cars for about 13K (keep in mind thats bluebook value almost 5 months ago, and if you have ever been to an auction then you know cars never go for the bluebook value because some cars have a damaged title)(also keep in mind car value depreciates fast (usually monthly))) ....and i dont no where your goin to find a new SRT-4 since they discontinued them...but im sure with all the research u did u knew that...:naughty:

i juss got one more thing to say 100(turbo hp gain)+155(z24 stock hp)=255 and im pretty sure 255(turboed z24 hp)=255(srt-4 hp who has a turbo) so ur comment bout the turbo not helping wasn't too smart

Ahhh now im going to have to call you out on that one. A hanh stage 2 turbo kit for the eco lets it run anbout 225whp on all stock motor with about 8 or 9lbs of boost (which is perfectly safe), being that from a 130whp best from the stock n/a motor. Im pretty sure thats pretty dam close to a 100whp gain, or I just cant do math. And since the ecotec cavys sell around $6000, in good condition, and the stg2 turbo kit is $4000, leaves you with a bit of left over money to mess with internals to match your little srt4. Not to mention the fact its a freakin cavalier keeping up with a srt4, which gives you some sort of pride.

Anyway, im really intrested in how the pillar will turn out, might do it with mine later this winter if I have enough money left over.

I still need bigger injectors, an oil flange, and those little paper things that go between the flanges...gaskets? oh and Intercooler piping would help, along with a need a 2.5" downpipe going to a bigger cat...so i'm still months away
this will probably be an early spring project.

Hmm because I didnt just say in my post that the kit was $4000, and anyone with any kinda experience should be able to install it themselves. But even with installation charges, there's still money left over for that sign you put in the back window of your cav for the Neon to read when your a couple cars ahead.
