Im from the 'maro forums..and i usually dont come to the astro forums, but one of the fellow camaro owners had a question.. does a 4.3L V6 engine from a astro bolt up to a 3.8 camaro transmission?
i know the 3.8 uses the 4L60E, and i guess if the astro uses the same transmission chances are pretty high that it will bolt up..
any one have any ideas? it;d be awesome if someone could PM me or hit up the camaro thread for the answer..

It should come down to the 60 dergree or 90 degree engine. I'm guessing you know more than I do about this and know that part already. I'd ask the junk yard if the transmissions are interchangable in the 5.0 and the 3.8 camaro. If they are, the 4.3 should bolt up. After that, Good luck. Any swap is fun.

The 262 V-6 uses the same flange bolt pattern as any SBC V-8. If the 4L60E will bolt to a SBC V-8, it will bolt to the SBC V-6. You may have more trouble with the engine mount locations than the transmission.
