Crankshaft rotation

I pulled a long block with a serpentine belt from a late 80's model Astro to put in my boat which has seperate belts for the pulleys (power steering, alternator, water pump) Does the crank rotate in the opposite direction with a serpentine belt then without the serpentine belt? Anybody know?
Thanks for any input!!

Crankshaft rotation of automotive 4.3 engines is the same. However, some engines, (not sure about the 4.3), are produced both ways for use in dual engine marine applications. Counter-rotating engines cancel torque on the hull/transom. Better check yours to be sure. A serpentine belt would be as advantageous in a boat as it is in automotive.

While the crank rotates the same direction in 99% of these engines (marine duty included) hte water pump on a poly V ("serpentine") accessory drive does rotate in reverse direction. That can lead to some confusion.
