Or you need a 4g63 ;).
I dont have it yet, but stutterbox is going to be my favorite feature. Antilag and no-lift-shift are close though.

my favorite feature is the built in voice activated ass scratcher. It gets the job done.

Thats a thought one. I like being able to use 0-5v inputs to log various aftermarket gizmo's. I also like knock CEL preset, Miscellaneous dialog box where you can clamp baro/iso, turn fans on. Timing control is neat though I hardly use it. Airflow sliders for calibrating the MAF is very nice with the 3" GM MAF!! Nothing like good gas mileage..
The one thing I really wish the 2g v2.5 had that the 1g version has is the NLTS timing reset sum. If NLTS activates and injectors goto 0.0%, if you have any knock at all when you shift it skyrockets during shifts and fucks your entire next gear. 1g dsmlink has the timming reset sum at shift that the future v3 will have..

Antilag: "The technique involves retarding ignition timing so far as to cause the exhaust valve to open well into the power cycle, resulting in extremely hot and explosive gases rushing past the turbine, spinning the turbo up like crazy." -DSMlink.com
No-lift-shifting means you dont have to take your foot off the gas when you shift. When the clutch goes in, it engages a sort of "rolling stutterbox" so it drops the revs to a user set RPM. I think its pretty damn cool. Obviously you wouldnt use that on the street during normal driving, but its a good racing technique.

With the no lift shift feature...how dangerous is that? I have heard horrible stories of what it could do....and does everyone like the interface and everything??? and how long did it take you to get used to it?

How can it be dangerous? When your rpms still drop off like your letting off the gas but to a set rpm instead, which will still allow the clutch to go into next gear smoothly ;) And like i said before DSMLINK is the only way to go!!! its fuckin amazing!!!

The only other thing that I am considering besides DSMLink is the AEM EMS....but I guess I could always get DSMLink and if I dont like it then just sell it....

EMS is no joke, you better know your shit to even bother buying it. You can have someone dyno tune it, if their is somone who can do it. I'm no where near the expeience level needed for that product..

you could buy the dsmlink and then sell it to me for $200...then you could buy ems

DSMlink > EMS
Not because EMS is a bad setup, because as scottsee said its a very good one, but stand alone systems like that are only good for racecars. I know a buy with Haltec, great system but damn they cost a lot and dont have the same ease as link.
