chainsaw massacre, the beginning

just saw the new massacre. i thought it was good but not great, the gory parts where definately there, and the suspense also, but it just wasnt as good as the remake of the original.... gave it a 7-8 out of ten....

That's what I was wondering (if it was as good as the remake of the original). So I'll wait for DVD.

dont get me wrong, it was good, just not great. usually for me to be satisfied at the movies, its gotta be great!lol

Yeah me too. I don't even bother unless it's like awe inspiring work of cinema. Maybe it's because I studied film in college or maybe because I'm just cheap... haha

My friends wanted to go see Tex Chainsaw but I'm too broke to spend $9 on a horror movie nowdays. I just don't get scared by horror flicks anymore. The last hing that actually gave me a funny feeling in my stomach was 28 Days Later and part of that was because I was under influence of herbal enhancers when we went to see it.

i was definately under that influence 2, i dont get scared at all either, the girl i was with was shittin bricks tho! some lady brought her 6 year old daughter, what an idiot, thats like abuse...

yeah, horror movies have no affect on me. only good when ya go with a girl. did go to a haunted farm (setup) last night. that was good fun, cause idc if you know its fake, you're walking through a corn maze with people randomly in it. after awhile, i start wandering in field and jumped out at people. ah, good fun.

ya know they're coming out with 28 weeks later...

I hate sequels soooo much. Unless they're based on a book series (Lord of the Rings owns)

I like stuff like that. Wandering around in the dark at least has better potential to scare me than some corny movie

i thought the 1st remake was terrible. not scary at all, it just pissed me off.

speeking of haunted things. i went with a guy and two girls to what's considered to be the most haunted building in north america. it's this old prison in ottawa, if that damn girl didn't have to drive home and we weren't meeting at the other girls place i woulda gotten some but it just didn't work. still trying to convince her to spend the night there, she was scared shitless during the tour, just imagine how she'd be staying the night lol.

There are at least a dozen movies with this same plot. In just about every movie, everybody dies so... maybe she saw one or two of them... :dunno:

well she shits her pants at anything even close to scary, she never goes to see any scary movies because of that. so this would be freaking hilarious. anyways, as you can see from me typing this now, i didn't convince her, i'm spending halloween studying since i couldn't find the ppl i was supposed to drink with. halloween sucks.

I finally saw the original last week, it was far from frightening. It was hillarious. Leatherface was suppose to be scary? :lol:

The remake was far more "scary".
