Worried about pick up from Train to Dealership!

How can I make sure that the car was not beaten before I have driven it. I have a friend that worked at a train yard, where all the new cars came in, and told me that whenever a new "HOT" car came in, they would really wring it out from the train drop off, to the car yard. I don't want this happening to my 350Z! I was told about a dealer pick up, where the dealer goes and picks it up themselves. Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks!
