prelude tweeter help??

I have a 4th gen prelude and the tweeters dont work anymore i got a new cd player and was just wondering how your supposed to wire them cause i tried just wiring them with the front speakers but that didn't work because i really need them because i dont hear the words really with my subs and they would help a lot if they worked they aren't the stock ones either the guy i bought the car from put infinity tweeters in it.
