What do I need to do the swap besides the engine and ecu?

no matter what swap you do you need to convert to MPFI.
i suggest a wiring harness ($150) so you can run the p28 ecu. otherwise you have to rewire 50 wires and you'll need the 88-91 & 92-95 manuals. the wiring harness only requires extending 8 wires...other than that it's plug n' play.
you can use your dx tranny but IMO the gearing sucks. for a hatch the 88-91 Si tranny is best and in a 4 door the 88-91 EX tranny. it is not required but by all means worth the $100-250!

Cool! I was just gonna ask where to get a d16y8 harness... Now I've got a question though... is it just a short section of wiring with all the wires swapped around that plugs into the old harness, and then you use the new plugs?
