I have a question concerning Tamiya Polyester Putty...
The instructions are in Japanese, so I am wondering how to mix the Putty and the hardener - 1:1, 2:1, 1:2 or else? :banghead: :screwy: :shakehead
Thanks in advance for helping me out! (Yes, I did search...)
Cheers from Germany

You take the big tube and put some in a line (example, 1 inch, or for the metric system, 2.5cm) on a mixing surface. Then you take the little tube and put an equal length line. Then mix it up and you're good to go.

I mix enough hardner in with the putty so that it turns a toothpaste color mint green. It should be mostly white, but you should tell it is a very light green. You may have to play around a bit with it to get exactly what you need. The more hardner the faster it kicks which can make it more brittle, but then again if there isn't enough hardner it will never cure or take eons and then it will be soft.

Allright, thanks guys!
Equal length line sounds good...I'll go ahead and try it tomorrow.

The instruction says "equal length line" like bhop73 mentioned. The color of the putty should turn pale green like the color of the tube cap, or slightly darker.
