how important do ya'll think it is to have the tranny dust cover on? i never had one, but since i got a new flywheel i was wondering if i should buy one.

Well, In my opinion, if you keep your car strictly on the ashpault, its not that big of a deal, but you have to drive down dirt roads often, especially when mud is involved, I would highly recommend getting a dust cover put on. If its gonna stay on asphault, its not that big of a deal.

True, you're less likely to get tangled up with debris on a highway but you never know, you might run over a rock or sofa and damage some expensive stuff. The cover is cheap new or get a used one at the junkyard. GL

I'm up in canada. Have driven my crx for a year through rain, sleet, snow, and gravel roads..I've never had a dust cover and the tranny and clutch are still fine on my car.
