Good news, baby!

Some of you may recall about a year ago, I contacted GM regarding a warped dash. That particular dash was replaced at 35K miles, and at about 52K miles it was warping again. The warranty had expired on the car (B to B warranty) and the dash, but after contacting GM, they kindly replaced the dash again. At 66K miles now, so far so good.

So the good news: About 2 months ago I had my IAT sensor and wire harness crap out on me. The dealer charged me something like $230 or $250...something in that area. Anyway, this unfortunate event took place only 4K miles after my extended GM warranty ran out. But alas, after giving GM another call, they've decided to reimburse me for this repair!!

So to recap, I've gotten a free dash and IAT sensor work done for nothing. Both times GM technically didn't have to go the extra mile, but they did. The dash alone for the part is over $700. I think it's safe to say, in parts and labor, GM has contributed about $1000 to my car. Thanks GM!
