19. There are no clocks in Las Vegas gambling casinos.

Not exactly true. The time is displayed in the Race & Sports books, which are technically considered a part of the casino floor. ;)

Susan Lucci has been on some soap opera for like 20 years. She's famous for being nominated for daytime Emmys for (I think) 8 years or something, and never winning.

I've seen pics of her w/ hair that looks like her mom's.

i read that he used a mirror, i may be wrong, i'm not saying you are. it was done so no one could read what he'd written. (unless they had..................a mirror)

EDIT - sorry, you were right. wikipedia says he wrote it as a mirror-image, without using a mirror.

Well, there's a lot of speculation (have you read "The Davinci Code"?) that says he was part of a secret society and had to conceal information.

In that day and age, the Spanish Inquisition was a huge issue for forward thinking individuals.

Why not? I'm not sure how many babies are born daily but its alot. (Thanks in advance to whoever had the energy to look this stat up... I'm a lazy bastid:wink: ) Plus newborns aren't all that distinguishable from one another. They're mostly bald, pink (or light brown, but I was pretty pale when I was born), cuddly bundles of joy. Add to that the endless hours worked by nurses and interns causing absent-mindedness and you could easily get 12 mixups every day.

Excuse me as I go study my parents' pictures :uhoh:

In my area, the hospitals put a small wrist band on the baby the minute it is born(after it is cleaned up of course,) and another band is placed on the mother and father(if present, and known.) All the bands have the same info and are used to place the correct baby with it's parents, and to make sure no one else is trying to leave the hospital with a baby that is not their own. I remember leaving the hospital with my wife and newborn daughter 9 years ago and we had to stop 3 times on the way out of the hospital to be checked either by a nurse or security to make sure our wristbands all corresponded.

30. Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying!
I'll have to remember that the next time I peel some. I found out that if I wear my contact lenses while peeling onions, I don't cry, but if I have my glasses on watch out!
