Hi fellows ,this time I show you pics of my `89 Fairlady-Z 300ZX Twin Turbo 2seater. IT´s the kit from Tamiya. I thought at that time to pick the Fujimi one, but it was quite shitty.Just the box was attractive.
This Tamiya kit is fantastic.Although you cannot remove the pannels of the top , like the Fujimi´s , this has a superb VG30DE-TT engine under the clear bonnet. The chassis is cool and the interior very detailed. It´s a must! to have it. The colour chart is one the most impressive ones I have seen in my modeller life , which started in 1982 , by the way.
I put the engine and wires necessary to give the engine bay a realistic appearance, using as a base thepics of the road test reports of that age.
Well , just that , regards to all.

having done the same kit, I can see all the extra detail that went into yours. Nice job! :sun:

yes indeed. this kit can be changed , added on and so , just the sky it´s the limit.Nice idea to open the doors. I have another one to restore it and may be i´ll dare to scratch made some hinges to link the doors.MAy be I even take out the T-tops glass panels. Mmm this reminds me that it´s time to finish the `92 Convertible I have...but i have to make some mods to the seats fot to adapt the leather type ones.

Thanks all friends. This is another model built a long time ago. The quality isn´t the top, but at least I put my good hours on the engine bay. That reverts in your experience after all.
Thanks again. I´d like to show you the convertible version of 1992 but I´m so slow...and in addition to this , today I´ve started the Silvia Q´s AERO `96 from Fujimi, I´m just crazy. I prefer not to count all the kits half way started, because I could be sent to prison just for that!

Well , thank you P- MAn and the rest. Forhod , the kit was quite pleasent to make nothing much about to complain. I did 2 of them.My first one was an US 300ZX TT in yellow , but as the bonnet crashed a corner and as I wasn´t quite happy with it , I decided to buy another one. And painted it black (Like the Rolling Stones´ Song). The result was this. Perhaps the most critic point for me was to glue the windows, above all the roof, glasses of the t-top.
One day I´ll restore the No. 1 converted into a Fairlady , may be a well painted mica yellow or a cranberry red metallic. Depend on the JDM original color chart.
Meanwhile I gotta finish the Kawasaki I´m restoring and the Z3 but I´m too slow. At least today I have got a nice coral red metallic.Positive that thing of experimenting guys.
