I've been so insanely busy the last few weeks (actually 2 months or so) I have not been on as much ...
... so what kind of trouble has everyone been getting into?

well let me see.... some guy that drives is crappy mr2..thinks its a race car was doing pretty well racing in the speical ed driving club.:grinno:
ric(er) has been stalking some girl.:lol:
the wingmen have released there first hit movie.
musashi still is slow.... gotain got an rx-8

I've been ebaying like crazy getting hard to find parts, which are strangely abundant on ebay... funny how that works.
Anyways, another $1000 in parts for the Z... I have close to $4000 in just parts, easily $2000 of it is just interior bits. What drives the cost up on the interior pieces is most of my components are NOS Datsun/Nissan parts or they're in excellent used condition.
All the other expenses are fun things that I'll devulve at a later date... cause even though I've bought them I don't know if I'll be using them... all depends on what deals I can rustle up from a few sources.
Updates to come I'm sure.... been real busy myself.

Yeah I did get a new race car BTW. 1966 Chevy II. Chassis car, 4 wheel disc brakes, rack n pinion steering, A-arms on the front, ladder bars w/coil overs on the back, nice setup car. Its got a NICE 355 SBC, a Turbo 400 tranny (3-spd auto), and 9-inch Ford rear end w/5.13 gears (I think).
6.77 @ 101 mph in the 1/8th. That's my best with it thus far.

Hmmm, not a lot for me. I guess I blew my bike motor which is about another $4k to build back to specs, but that is about it.

The car? The car has its new motor and is waiting to be dropped in. Did the 60k tune up on it first because we were not going to take any chances. But, we are trying to keep a steady building pace between the bike and the car. But hopefully it wil go in soon.

I've only had it out 3 times I think, 4 if you count a test n tune session. I won the gamblers race the track has after the test n tune, so I dont guess I've actually won an official race, but I have won a race with it.
Its been now 2 weeks since I've got to race. I think I have figured it out now though. If you look in my sig, you can see the last round of competition I ran. Close red light, but look at the dial in and look at what the car ran.

It's not cold at all in Michigan yet, but I stored it for 2 reasons. One is insurance, having no insurance for a whole 6 month term makes things really easy and second, I'm back in school and in September I drove the car twice, one of them was an autocross. Very busy during the school year.
