Fault codes on a 01 Caravan

Hi I am looking for some help on the codes my van threw up this morning.I just pulled up to a stop sign and the check engine light came on.There does not seem to be any noticeable shifting or power problems. I cycled the key and the codes that came up were , P168.4 and then P044.2.Any help would be appreciated Thx

p1684 is battery has been disconected and p0442 is an evap medium leak and could be anything from a loose or faulty gas cap to a split in any emission hose or a rotten filler tube or bad check valve at the canister or bad canister or leak detection pump good luck
