Been doing research, which true coilover setup?

Okay, I Own a 94 si, I want to do a true coilover setup. The problem is, I haven't seen any comparisons between brands. I am going to be using this car as a daily driver. I am really into handling in road racing (maybe some auto crossing) but mostly I am looking for a very good handling car for twisty roads. I also do a lot of drag racing at a locak track, and from stop light to stop light on occasion. As of right now, the only other suspension part I have is a skunk2 rear sway bar. I have been looking at the following brands, since I can get a very good deal on all three of them. I don't know if there are different levels for the brands, so I will include the retail price for each.
Tein: $1090
Apex: $1088
H&R: $1500
Now I can get the Apex and H&Rs cheapest, but I can get a good deal on all of them. So does anyone have any up sides or down sides on any of them? I really have no clue which to get. Also do all of them have different spring rates to choose from? How should I go about choosing the spring rates if so? All advice/help is great appreciated! thanks!

Not sure about the ones you mentioned, but I'm going with RED suspension for my hatch. They've got a full lifetime warranty and I can get them for 599 when they're usually 799.

Go Tein. That's what I'm rolling on, plus it's one of the only GOOD ride (not just height) adjustable systems out there. That's what I'm rolling on in my '00 Civic coupe, a set of Tein SS's. They are AWESOME shocks for the money you pay for them, and they knock the socks off the $1200 H&R coilovers I've also felt before. I'd go with Tein.

I've haven't used them but, Sport Compact Car has used progress group coilovers on a couple of the project cars, Civic Si and Celica GTS are the ones I can remeber for sure, and they have said in both cases the they were extreamly pleased with there performance. Next time I buy coilovers these are what I'm going to get.

There are many good coilover kits, but which kits are you comparing?
More importantly, I won't recommend a kit without knowing your driving experience and what kind of driving your car sees.

Bah I spent $900 on my Ground Controls and Koni Yellows and took 1st place at all but two autocross events :) Works great for me.

I'm trying to compare the ones I listed above.. the tein, H&R, and apex unit.. I don't know which one would be the best to go with.. I can get the apex and H&R for over $100 cheaper then the tein, but I can also get the tein cheap.
I would consider my driving to be above average in handling, but not professional. I've been driving hondas (and hondas only) for about 4 years of good practice in handling. The car sees a lot of spirited driving on paved back roads, and I do mean a lot.. I also do autocross on occasion. I do a lot of drag racing as well, but that isn't my main reason for upgrading the suspension, but the car does race a lot at the track.
Basically, I can go with any of these setups, I just want to know if one would be the best to go with since even at my discount, these setups are costly. thanks!! :)

That's what I was originally going to go with before I homed in and settled on my Teins I ended up getting (mainly because the Teins were roughly the same price (actually cheaper) than I would have spent on the G/C - Koni Yellow setup). I'm glad I did too, because I love the added adjustability of them over a standard sleeve (or spring for that matter) and shock/strut mix and match. But I will side with you to say for a non true coilover set up, G/C mated to a set of Koni Yellows is the only other good wayI can see to go. G/C's are great units, good spring rates with them, and the Konis are somewhat adjustable as far as dampning, as well as some slight height adjustability to them. How do they feel on everyday street driving, CivicSiRacer?
From experience in riding in a car with them, I can tell you that even more expensive than my Teins, the H&R full units aren't nearly as good comfort wise as the Teins. Plus you can't adjust the ride comfort of them either, only the height.
