Sorry i meant what's WITH the apostrophe and forward slash thing. every time I try to hit the keys a find search comes up, and it really pisses me off when i'm trying to type.

'/? Where are you typing it and which website does it direct you too? It's a bit difficult to work out what the issue is from your vague description, but it sounds like Spyware. Get some anti spyware software like Ad Aware and Spybot and see what it picks up.

Hmm I just saw what he's talking about. If you're just on a page, but not in a box like the posting one or the address bar, if you hit ' then the search thing comes up.

It doesn't pop up when you're typing in a dialox box (like the posting box on any forum) so why is it an issue?

It does in my other forums. just not AF, please tell me i can turn it off? infact it must have happened a few times here.

I tried a few other punctuation keys in Opera while typing outside of a box. Here's what I got:
Comma brings up "finding links" on the page you're viewing. Not really useful to me.
The period brings up "find text" on the page, just press the period and type the word you want to search and press enter. Press F3 to find the next match. That one is really useful when using search engines and jumping to a page that seems to make no sense until you search it. I love keyboard short cuts like these.
