riding on the coat tails of the age poll (no claims of originality ;))

wondering what everyone here does when they're not slaving over little plastic bits, accelerating the onset of carpel tunnel syndrome and killing braincells with fumes (and don't act as though the smell of tamiya acrylic doesn't put a smile on yer face!)?

my excuse- still in college, beats doing that studying stuff everyones' talking about

also helps maintain some semblance of sanity juggling three jobs in the meantime

...no doubt this has been done before but i came up empty in the search so i claim immunity ;p

Been unemployed for the last 12 months after jacking in my job at a car insurance call centre. Fed up with the lack of good jobs around my area and its pretty hard to find sound engineering jobs for which i'm qualified. So as most of you all know i decided to go into self employment and aslong as it brings in enough pennies i guess i could call myself a professional model maker!!!;)

I trade stocks w/ someone else's money (a small company). I'll need a new gig sooner or later. Unless you've been in a cave the last two years, you'll know that all stock mkts. are sucking (and are going to get MUCH worse). :bathroom:

I think I'm going back to school next spring or summer. :bandit:

I do the same thing as Blackout. Welcome to AF by the way! I am a "Residential Treatment Counselor for/with Previously Ajudicated youth". I like my job but I don't like the "adults" that are my co-workers. At least at night I can take my models to work and build for 7 hours if I so choose to

I was a former Honda technician at a dealership. Haven't worked in almost 2years:( . Got retrained for an IT job, but that's not working out right now. Market is just starting to pick up. I think I beat Chris (flyonthewall) in the unemployment duration. I have the time to do my models, but lack the motivation because I'm not taking in any paychecks to support the hobby. Oh well. Boo hoo hoo.

When i'm not at school, I work the frontend (registers) of a local hardware chain... no, i'm not a register jockey, i'm better than that!!

I actually either run the service desk or i count/balance the safe and all the used tills(register drawers) to see if they were over and short... during the day.

Damn do i have a nice job? though counting through $4000 of twenties does start to hurt after awhile.
