Power side-mirror problem

The power side mirror on the passenger side of my 2000 Olds Silh. seems to constantly slowly turn out. I can readjust with the little joystick but it will eventually be turned out again. It doesn't seem to matter if I leave the switch set to either mirror or to the off position. It is only the passenger side that does it. Does this sound like a problem at the switch (joystick type of switch on driver side door) or the mirror.
Any help would be appreciated, it is very annoying.
Thanks
Scott

Hi Scott,
This is just a "guess", but I would think that it is probably something wrong in the switch (causing "stray" current to get to the mirror).
I would test this theory by disconnecting the joystick connector for a day or two, once you have the mirrors where you want them. Then plug it back in and see what happens.
There is a picture of the bottom of the switch here (http://www.my-chevy-venture.com/driver-side-window-switches.html).
Take Care,

I have exactly the same problem on my 2000 Sil., strangely it does not drift out while driving, even on long trips - Did you try to disconnect switch? Did you solve the Problem? I was going to dismantel the mirror once it gets warmer.
