Alloy Rim Stains

I must admit that I have not given the alloy rims on my 2004 Quest the attention that they deserve. I now have light brown staining on my rims due to brake dust corrosion. It is most prominent in the area where the spokes meet the outer rim which of course is the more difficult area to clean. I tried saturating them with a wheel cleaner for a few minutes and rubbing them out but that did not work.

I was just wondering if someone else may have been on the same boat at one point and was successfully able to remove these stains? If so, what product and technique did you use?

Thanks.

Try a Magic Eraser. Or CLR rust and stain remover. Use the CLR on a rag. Or maybe try a SOS pad. Just some things I mught try if I were in your shoes.
