How is a 300z different from a pathfinder's engine?

I though most Nissans shared the same engine. I heard the New Z has the pathfinders engine (or maximas, or they all share the same one). My dad has a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder (First year with 270 or 240hp I dont remember) and it's preaty fast for a big car. It does 0-60 in 8 seconds flat, but theres one thing I don't like about the car. After the low end torque (rubber burning), it just loses the "power feel" It's fast, but my sisters integra that's slower feels faster because of the power gained at higher reevs. How is the 300Z going to compare to my dads pathfinder? They both are heavy.. Will the nissan 300z just have the power to burn the tires, but ones 3,000+ rpm comes in, you don't feel it?
I'm talking about the N/A. Turbo I'm sure is quick as hell because the higher the engine spins (more exhuast) the faster the turbin spins. Does the N/A just have low end torque and that's it?
