If you are buying a Vue, Try to go for the 3.5V6 engine, they ride nice, are very quiet and have no problem to my knowledge. Most vue's are very good with no problems. We have an 02 with the 3.0 V6 and an 04 with the 3.5 V6, both are great, and have had no problems as of yet. the 02's and i believe some 03's are rear wheel drive, so keep that in mind when you look at them, especially if you live in an area that it snows. Hope this helps some.

the 02's and i believe some 03's are rear wheel drive,
the first year for the VUE was 02, all years come with ether Inline-4 or V-6 engines and ether FWD or AWD, with several transmission options depending on year and engine/driveline (manual, CVT, or automatic) the Inline-4 engine is the widely growing 2.2L Ecotec also availible in most GM FWD cars, it was orginally introduced in the 2000 L-series. 02 and 03 model years had the 3.0 V6 engine, i don't know much about this engine. 04+ years have a Honda 3.5L, identical to the engine in some Hondas, one being the CR-V, which if you don't know the CR-V has had several reports of engine fires due to lose oil filters, but don't worry, not one VUE has had such a fire.
