OK..here is the story...98 Gran Prix...brought it to the dealer to get a pulley fixed and to see where the leak is coming from....they did some "matinence" on the car to pin point the leak(replaced the pc valve and flushed the transmission)...my problem is I thought they changed my oil:shakehead, but when I went to check it today...it was damn near empty:banghead:....i added a whole quart of mobile 1 and when I checked the oil, it still looks empty, there doesnt seem to be anything under the car?? Why does my dipstick look empty?:frown:
Disregard my "oil leak" thread

Welcome to AF.
It would be helpful to post the mileage. Maybe you should add some more oil until the level comes up to the proper markings on the dipstick.
Why was the tranny flushed?

How long has it been since they did this? It's probably not very likely since your engine hasn't locked up yet, but it has been known to happen that the oil changers didn't change the oil, they just drained it. My dad has told me several stories about the little flunkies the dealership hired to do oil changes forgetting to put oil back IN the car.
